Penarth’s town centre parklets were introduced during the first COVID-19 lockdown to reimagine how public space could be used, creating places to pause, sit and spend time rather than simply pass through. The project formed part of a wider effort to support the local high street during the pandemic and encourage people to dwell, connect and engage with the town centre environment.
Candid Creative Studio developed the graphic treatments for the parklets, creating visual elements that felt welcoming, informal and rooted in local character.
