I have a longstanding interest in how places work — economically, socially and culturally. Through writing, speaking and community involvement, I explore the challenges and opportunities facing local high streets and independent businesses, drawing on lived experience rather than theory alone. Recognition for this work has come along the way, but the focus has always remained on contributing thoughtfully to conversations that matter locally and nationally.

I was a guest on Entrepreneurs Unplugged, taking part in Episode 4, Town Centre Roundtable Discussion. The episode brings together voices from across the Vale of Glamorgan to explore the realities of running independent businesses, from the day-to-day challenges to the bigger opportunities ahead. I joined the conversation alongside Amy Greenfield and Sally Stephenson, sharing perspectives from Penarth Business Group and looking ahead to what town centres need to thrive.
